I started doing drugs 18 years ago as a teenage, got addicted to heroin. Spent my whole life fighting heroin addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. I think so many addicts are hurt so deeply inside that they seek escape from the pain and torment in the wrong things. Not all fall into this category, but I think the majority does. Just MHO.

I self induced my mind to get even higher than cocaine high, with no substance whatsover.. the only side effect was a strange behaviour that made the family become alert and some eventual paranoia, that felt fun rather than feel bad, like exciting jumpscares, but 95% was just nonstop pleasure euphoria.. then I had to start taking antipsychotics that downregulate neurotransmitters in the brain to feel normal... so now Im working on a new "drug" that sends the mind high up without making you behave abnormally or feeling a lil paranoia, also it's suposed to send you to the high path without denying reality or creating delusion.. the first part of it was mostly acomplished which is basically "control" the mind to never go down under any circunstance or situation (negative feelings).. think of any negative feeling.. eliminated!! No therapy, no antidepressants, no external ideal environment.. just rewiring of the mind.

Not sure if its just a coincidence, but around this time last year i had a very good then very BAD acid trip. Today I randomly felt an insanely negative feeling/undertone to myself, very similar to the trip. Along with a fair bit of anxiety. Not sure if it’s some sort of anniversary effect or what. I also began to see outlines of veins on my carpet, just like I dod on acid however ofc on acid it was a much more prevalent visual

After 4yrs of smoking, slowly over a period of a couple months the highs started causing extreme anxiety. Now when I take THC of any form I feel a loss of control over my emotions and environment. My body starts to fight the high and my mind is flooded with all my insecurities and current life problems and I can’t shut it off like when I’m sober. My heart starts beating super fast, my muscles tense up, I start stuttering from embarrassment and I get extremely uncomfortable around people even those close to me. And for some reason in the moment I REALLY don’t want others knowing I’m tripping out bad, I’ll think “I really hope they can’t tell,” “you’re acting weird they can totally tell” “fuck! act normal.” The more I obsess over it the worse I feel and act. I would love to know why the positive effects of weed suddenly turn bad for some people.

You build a family with them and it can be complicated. Narcissists never get diagnosed, because they won’t go to a counselor. Yet if all and every feature of narcissism is there it’s a no brainer. A real narcissist would not seek treatment. They are perfect and they have special powers to drink.
